🌿 Pressed by Joy – Salon Policies Hello, I’m Joy, a natural hair stylist located in Joliet, IL. I specialize in the care, cleansing, and conditioning of natural hair. My mission is to nurture and celebrate the beauty of your natural hair with personalized, professional service. To provide the best experience for all clients, please review and respect the following salon policies: ⸻ 📅 Appointments & Deposits • All services are by appointment only. • A deposit is required to secure your booking. Appointments without a deposit will be canceled. • Appointments must be confirmed prior to the scheduled start time. Unconfirmed appointments may be canceled or treated as a no-show. • This is a cashless business. Payments are accepted via card on file only. Cash App is not accepted. ⸻ ⏰ Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows • 24-Hour Rule: Any cancellations, reschedule requests, or service changes made less than 24 hours before your appointment time will be treated as a cancellation. • Same-Day Cancellations & No-Shows: A 75% fee of the scheduled service(s) will be charged to the card on file. Deposits will also be forfeited. • Late Arrivals: Arriving more than 25 minutes late will result in a $30 late fee or your appointment may be marked as a no-show (75% fee applies). • No-Show Definition: If you fail to arrive for your scheduled appointment without confirmation or communication, it is considered a no-show. ⸻ 💳 Refund Policy • No refunds will be granted for deposits, payments, invoices, or custom orders. • Deposits are only refundable if I am unable to provide the service (at my discretion). • No-shows or underpaid balances will be charged to the card on file. ⸻ 👩🏽🦱 Guest Policy • No children or additional guests are allowed unless they are scheduled for a service. • Parents with minors are permitted. ⸻ ✂️ Style Adjustments • Adjustments (tightening, reshaping, or additional styling) must be requested within 48 hours of your appointment. • Adjustments will incur an additional fee, based on the service needed, and must be paid before work is performed. • No complimentary fixes will be provided unless there is a clear issue with the original installation. ⸻ 📌 In Case of Salon Closure If local and/or state government forces a temporary closure, your appointment will be rescheduled within 6 months.
